London Stansted Airport | Special Flyer Wristband – Autism Awareness Scheme

London Stansted Airport, has a dedicated Special Flyer Autism Awareness Scheme, for passengers travelling with children on the Autistic Spectrum. The Special Flyer wristbands can be collected from the Information Desk located in the International Arrivals or the Assistance Desk in Zone A. Unfortunately the wristbands cannot be posted out to you ahead of time.

The Special Flyer wristband entitles the passenger needing special assistance, plus up to three members of their immediate family, access to the FastTrack lanes free of charge. This is to try and minimise waiting times when going through security and passport control. The wristbands also identify to airport staff that you may require additional support.

Hi, my name is Sam, Welcome to my blog. I'm 32 and love to travel. I am living with Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, POTs, GERD, IBS and Asthma which due to some of their lovely symptoms has left me with limited mobility and needing to use a wheelchair to get around. When planning a holiday there is so much more now that has to be researched: airline, airport, transfer, country, hotel and surrounding area. I am hoping to help and encourage others in a similar situation to mine to travel and get the most out of your holiday.
